NAI Wisinski Assists a South-Korean Based Restaurant in Securing their First Michigan Location

(Grand Rapids, MI) – Another tenant has been added to the Knapp North retail development located at 2365 E. Beltline Ave. NE. Bonchon is a South-Korean based restaurant chain whose signature dish is their Korean fried chicken & wings. The 2,644 SF retail space will be the franchise’s first location in Michigan. Bonchon will be joining Sherwin Williams and Sara’s Sweets as a part of the three-building development, which is being developed by Pinnacle Construction Group. There is still space available in this development.

Doug Taatjes and Hillary Taatjes Woznick, both of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan, represented Pinnacle in negotiations with Bonchon. According to Doug “2365 E. Beltline is a perfect location for Bonchon. They’re going to have great visibility, and great tenant mix. They are also in an area of high retail concentration, which will  be very beneficial to them.”

Michael Garrett is the developer of Knapp North and owner of Pinnacle Construction Group as well as long-time resident of Grand Rapids Township. Michael reported that “Pinnacle is very happy with the mix of restaurants and retail. The visibility, ample parking, and ease of access will make the Knapp North Development a neighborhood favorite.”

Chris Prins of Colliers International represented Bonchon in this transaction.
